Why don’t I include or depend on the news, such as Moody’s downgrade, in my analysis? The reasons are key aspects of how and why I trade the way that I do.

My Inbox Indicator is full of people telling me my bearish outlook is wrong – that the market is kicking back into a bullish phase. This tells me that people are getting sucked into the complacency phase, which can be very dangerous. Here’s the thing, it doesn’t matter whether I am right or wrong; if the market takes off and things continue to rip higher, we may indeed kick back into a fresh stage two. But a lot has to happen for it to be a full-fledged stage two bull market. The key is to protect our capital – always.
